In May, we went to the idyllic Swedish mountain village of Åre on behalf of the operating company SkiStar. In only 3 weeks of construction time, we built a large facility with a family course, adventure playground and an exciting zipline course, where the longest Zipline is about 62 meters. 90 elements were installed at this location, which is known for its alpine skiing tradition and ski slopes in winter.
In June, we went straight on to Sappee in Finland. This adventure park, with its 15 courses, 135 exercise elements, an unbelievable 38 ziplines(!) and a base jump with a dizzying height of 11 meters, we were also able to build in only 3 weeks.
Not only up north, but also in Germany we were allowed to build our facilities and that twice right at the beginning of summer! In Riol on the Mosel, we built the very first Aqua Chimp in Germany. The leisure facility "Triolago" perfectly complements the already existing summer offer of wakeboarding, summer tobogganing and soccer golf. The medium-sized Aqua Chimp consists of 15 poles and a total of 22 climbing elements. Since June 1, up to 56 guests per hour can experience the Aqua Chimp experience live. The construction time was just under 10 days.
Our next summer project was an Aqua Chimp for the Hotel and Resort Schmelmer Hof in Bad Aibling, also convinced with a construction time of only about one week. Here 27 climbing elements were installed, which can be run through by 66 guests per hour. The facility completes the offer of a wakeboard park and diverse gastronomy.
In October, after only 10 days of construction time, we were able to hand over an educational high ropes course in Augsburg. The facility includes various team and individual elements with top rope safety and also scores with low rope elements in the area underneath, built according to the highest standards of the playground norm.
We are not running out of projects: At the moment we are realizing a diversified Adventure Park for CenterParcs in Leutkirch. The facility will feature a spacious climbing area on two levels, and the entire area can be flown over with the help of an integrated zipline course. There will also be a toddler course for the younger guests. We expect completion before Christmas.
We are already looking forward to many great projects in 2022!
