Adventure park in trees reconcepted in two steps Year of construction 2023 und 2024
The former Adventure Park in Mainau Forest - located across from Mainau Flower Island on the mainland - underwent extensive renovation in 2013, completed in just under two weeks of construction time. All older rope systems and courses were replaced. The facility impresses with its vast variety of different exercises, creatively and lovingly implemented. A particular focus during the renovation was on easy use with a continuous safety system, ideal for, e.g. school classes! All guests aged six and above and a minimum height of 1.10 meters are allowed to use the complete forest park with only few exceptions.
Due to the success of the Mainau Adventure Forest and the available opportunities, we embarked on a second extensive expansion in early 2024: Another four complete courses and a double instructional course were newly added, and an existing course was rebuilt. In total, 47 climbing elements, seven zip lines, and a family course for guests aged 6 and with a height of 1.10 meters were added. Additionally, the Adventure Forest now features two new youth courses and a challenging sports course, which can be tackled with a minimum height of 1.50 meters. The construction time here was also only 14 days.
Special highlights include a climbing exercise that passes under the existing bridge and others that lead over the bridge, as well as various zip lines stacked on top of each other in different courses. And of course, the intricately carved elements, such as turtles, are particularly noteworthy. One of the exercises was even developed and installed specifically according to customer preferences.

Wood from the Mainau forest was used for the conversion measures, so this renewable raw material was used here directly from nature in nature. The drilled tree taps are much gentler on the trees than the conventional clamping system.
