Aqua Chimp, the floating ropes course - the innovation for the summer season!

Aqua Chimp is a product of our partner Adventure Lakes GmbH, who is a pioneer in wake park construction and has been convincing with its facilities worldwide for decades. faszinatour was participating during the development and contributed among other things the design of the individual exercises. As exclusive distributor for Europe (except UK) we are looking forward to working with you!

With Aqua Chimp you choose an environmentally friendly and easy to install climbing park on the water, which brings enormous fun to adventurers of all ages. It can be installed on any kind of waterbody with a minimum depth of 2.5 m as the structure is fully floating. The unsinkable construction consists of steel and foam-filled HDPE floats, similar to an open sea buoy. The features are modular, easily exchangable, and extendable. The "floating jungle" defies wave heights of up to one meter and is absolutely insensitive to wind and storm.

Especially interesting for investors: Low operating costs due to minimal personnel requirements and hardly any maintenance, combined with high visitor throughput rates, ensure a quick return on investment. Aqua Chimp allows commercial use without climbing equipment and still offers a very high level of customer safety. A sustainable and innovative product with high potential for summer tourism.

Operating concept

Aqua Chimp can be operated as a supplement to other leisure facilities, but also very well as an independent attraction.

Usually Aqua Chimp is operated in one hours slots, i.e. each visitor has one hour of climbing time at his disposal. Booking and payment of the slots is ideally done via an online booking system which can be provided optionally. Only two persons are needed to operate the facility. They hand out life jackets, wetsuits and helmets, give a short briefing and supervise the operation of the Aqua Chimp. Guestes can swim to the floating jungle and back again on their own.

The opening hours can be arranged as required.

The recommended entrance fee for one hour of climbing fun is € 20.

Structural implementation

Borneo

Borneo – our smallest Aqua Chimp

Capacity 37 persons per hour
Staff required 2 persons
Poles 12 poles and floats
Features 13 freely selectable features

A classic, medium-sized setup with the greatest possible variation in difficulty levels

The setup offers three starting points with different levels of difficulty that can be reached with a hanging ladder. Instead of the ladders, raft-stair configurations can also be attached.

At the end of the three climbing lines and additional connection features there are three rope swings to end the course. Due to the simple yet well thought-out geometry, the “Borneo” setup exploits the maximum capacity in terms of participation numbers and variation.

Staff required 2-3 persons
Poles 22 poles and floats
Features 22 freely selectable features

The original setup of the first Aqua Chimp at the Wild Shore Delamere Aquapark, England

Similar to the "Borneo" setup, the climbing lines are based on three main routes of varying difficulty, which can either be reached using a hanging ladder or the raft-stairs configuration. At the end of the lines there are also three rope swings for the exhilarating exit into the water. In addition, there are three hanging ladders for the ascent.

The special feature on this course are the two flying ziplines with 0E-fetchback system running along the perimeter of the structure. These allow the small and large chimpanzees to enjoy the ride back to the start on the so-called "monkey fist".

Sumatra is the perfect solution for a commercial operation with high capacity utilisation.

Capacity 39 persons per hour
Staff required 2 persons
Poles 12 poles and floats

It is perfect for a simple to medium level of difficulty, but still allows space for more challenging elements in the inner square. The start can be reached either by a hanging ladder or with a raft-stair configuration.

Mega Fox and Ziplines Mega Fox and Ziplines

A step closer to the dream of flying. Zipline courses are very popular with visitors and operators. No wonder! Spectacular action for a very broad target group with a high throughput at the same time makes "Ziplining" so attractive.
