Where water turns into adventure – Aqua Chimp at Lake Kransburg Year of construction 2025
On 23 July 2025, a new highlight opened at the Kransburger See: the Aqua Chimp – a floating climbing park that attracts visitors of all ages. Climbing, balancing, swinging, and, occasionally, splashing into the water with a big laugh – this is an experience that brings movement, joy and nature together in one place.

With 23 varied elements inspired by Ninja Warrior, the park offers a mix of excitement and fun. Anyone who enjoys a challenge can test their balance on ropes and rings above the water, while others simply enjoy the refreshing plunge. Up to 60 guests can be on the structure at the same time, making it ideal for families, school groups, clubs or company outings.
The Aqua Chimp is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, and tickets must be booked online in advance. Right next to it, the family campsite at Kransburger See provides a relaxed place to unwind after your climb.
