Climbing Fun For All Ages Year of construction 2024
The Golm Rope Park in Vandans was originally built by faszinatour in 2008 and has been expanded and renovated several times over the years. As time passed, many of the platforms and zipline attachments became overgrown, making a comprehensive modernisation necessary.
In 2024, after 15 years, a major expansion was planned to make the park more appealing to families and youth groups, while also renewing the existing structures.
Following storm damage, three new poles had to be erected to ensure the safe operation of the park. The method for securing the platforms was switched from clamped to drilled constructions. The aim was to preserve as much of the existing structure as possible, which made both the planning and construction more challenging. New drilled platforms were installed, and several obstacles and safety lines were also updated.

The expansion includes two new family and youth courses, a children's course, and two training courses. Additionally, a more remote area with stunning mountain views has been developed, perfect for accommodating larger groups on busy days. Despite challenging weather conditions, with heavy snowfall and rain, the project was completed on schedule, and the park is now well equipped for the coming years.
