Climbing Park in the Swedish ski resort Year of construction 2023

At the mountain station in the Swedish ski resort of Vemdalen, both young and old adventurers, especially families, can have a wonderful experience in the treetops, as a newly constructed high ropes course has been available since June 2023. The climbing park, built on 24 poles, features 83 climbing elements with routes of varying difficulty levels, such as hanging bridges, lianas, and planks. The heights in the park vary, with visitors reaching up to 8 meters above the ground at the highest point. In total, there are four climbing courses, a children's course, and two introductory courses. The park is accessible from the age of three, and color-coded markings indicate which sections are suitable for different age groups.

To thematically connect with winter sports, one of the exercises involves snowboarding from one platform to the next, and a giant Skistar sign adorns the high ropes course. Additionally, guests can experience high-speed excitement on two separate zipline routes – the longest zipline measures 72 meters!

The climbing park is conveniently located next to the Skalet Express mountain station and easily accessible by lift.

Due to the predetermined opening date and the need to accommodate trainer training beforehand, the construction was subject to a tight schedule. Despite challenging weather conditions with snowfall in June, we managed to complete the construction within 2.5 weeks.
