Forest academy facility "Limeswall" Year of construction 2022

The Mönchhof school hostel is nestled in the middle of the Swabian Forest. In November 2022, it supplemented its leisure and educational facilities with a suspension bridge course, a low ropes course for team exercises, and a children's playground made of low rope elements. The suspension bridge course is laid out between trees as a circuit and is completely netted - so no belays are necessary when climbing. Both the low ropes course for educational use and the children's playground each consist of five elements. A "Wild Whoosey" serves for team development exercises as well.

In order to allow the further unhindered growth of the trees included in the facility, a special construction technique was used: the trees are not generally wrapped and no foundations were installed. As a special highlight, the entire facility was given a "Limeswall" theming to emphasise the regional reference and the educational focus.
